We are seeking submissions/collaborations of visionary video work for the upcoming AYA2014 convention in Ibiza, Spain. The conference is organized by the ICEERS Foundation and aims to bring together scientists, legal experts, practitioners, environmentalists and others to focus on the role of ayahuasca in the world today. Besides workshops and presentations, the conference also includes a film forum featuring some of the newest and most relevant films about Ayahuasca. As a centerpiece for this film forum, our member Vodsel has been tasked with bringing together a selection of visionary video works to be showcased in a special "Experiences" session.
He's already collected a number of great examples but needs about 30 minutes more material, and is hoping to tap into the creative wellspring of the Nexus to find it. There are a number of members here who do video art in a variety of styles, and it is these members who we are hoping will respond to this open invitation. In addition, we would like to encourage collaborations, of the sort that had been proposed last year in the Hyperspace Video Project. Although that proposed project was quite ambitious, any collaboration between members is bound to be interesting, so this could be a perfect opportunity for the video-capable among us to take on projects of a scale that would be realistic to finish by the end of the summer.
