to make the story short....
I've done ayahuasca 3 times, and in the 3 times I was shown real life future events, and also movie like scenes, of what I shouldn't be doing. I quit doing this, since somebody told me that in the new times, we, as lightworkers and pioneers should be working in higher dimensions, and that dmt will only get you to the 4th dimmension in the higher levels....
I can now have similar movie like experiences, without doing dmt, although I have to get in a really deep trance meditative state and the help of my moldavite stone placed on the heart chakra.
The thing is, I've planted some psicotria viridis, and everytime I water them, a big and important question crosses my mind : what will I do when my plants are ready for extraction?
I really think a shaman limits and manipulates energy, closing the boundries, and sometimes with dark side energy purposses, and besides going trough all the puking and shitting isn't necessary for me anymore. Also, someone during one ceremony told me that ayahuasca will take you somewhere near to what a tibetan monk will go after years and years of practice. I was just wondering what would happen if I do dmt, somewhere in the future when my plants are ready.
Is it true about not getting out of the 4th dimmension? Will I mess all the job I've done? will doing dmt block my evolution?
Has anybody heard something like this before?

I don't know what your definition of the fourth dimension is, but I feel I've encountered geometry that is in five or more dimensions.

No, it will only limit you to the 5.81321th dimension.

I doubt DMT will block your evolution. If anything is going to block your evolution it is generally yourself, with denial, resistance, attachments etc.

I also doubt that DMT is anything like what a tibetan monk experiences. It's a different experience, just like sky-diving is not like bycicle riding.

A lot of new-age philosophies speak of "dimensions of consciousness" linking these dimensions sometimes to the chakras and sometimes to developmental psychology, or both. It's an interesting model but I think people get way to carried away with this idea trying to find what level and dimension they are on or need to be on. Isn't enough to know you're on your way?

If you are somewhat in touch with your self and the world around you, you will have an idea if taking dmt at any given moment could be beneficial for you or not. That doesn't mean it will be, when you do it, but at least it might... The only limits you will encounter on a spiritual journey are the things you are unwilling to overcome. IMO looking at everything through models of levels, dimensions and stuff like that is limiting.

Remember: no single thing abides but all things flow.

I don't think of the fourth dimension as time. To me, this is representational of fourth dimensional geometry (at its most basic).

Problem is a lot of people invent BS rules that they try to make us swallow, but nobody really knows.... It often come from prejudices, or simply parroting of what parents and `leaders` say. It is a belief, like any other belief. Refer to some of Gibran2`s threads on "Reality" for more on this.

So you have to find for yourself, based on the information you get from different sources, your personal experiences and your own critical thinking. Do your best, try to be as healthy as possible, but relax and enjoy too, and remember that ultimately, we just can`t know everything, or anything, about the nature of reality. It`s all just suspicions.

If I may be harsh, I`d rather be `limited to the 4th dimension`, whatever that means, and explore this amazing reality, at times with psychedelics, trying to be as aware as I can while accepting my limitations, than become a "holier-than-thou' 'know-it-all' asshole who tries to tell others what they should or shouldn`t do, even if they can get to the 1000th dimension.

That's funny, in the versions I know concerning developmental psychology the magical consciousness is before the rational one, meaning it's a step down. superstition etc. is regression from rational thought, according to these.

After the rational stage, according spyral dynamics for example comes integral and then holistic consciousness. You might want to take a look, if you are interested.

but really they ARE just models (and words). Don't mistake them for the real thing. I wouldn't get too carried away with one theory and one belief. Just learn and expand yourself, embrace each step the world moves you forward, sieze your oportunities and don't wallow in self indulgence and pity or fear of getting stuck or whatnot. Be a witness to the unfolding of the universe, participate, join and become this unfolding. Forget about dimensions and levels. Just cultivate growth and positivity and discover what is around you. That would be my advice, if you were asking for it.

They say that...."One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions." With my personal experiences I would have to agree.... but things can be different for other brains...Brain chemistry varies and beliefs vary, and with those variables there are so many possibilities you could experience. If you only do it once, theres a small chance that it was too much for your brain to comprehend and you forget it all....it all depends on YOU and what YOU believe and how YOU take in the information. <3
I honestly believe DMT is here to HELP humanity evolve, not make a block. DMT opens the pathways to the rest of what is. I feel like Ayahuasca is here to heal humanity and disease and help people grow into a natural way of living, in harmony with all that is. <3
