Simple question.
SWIM re-x'd about 100mg of spice, and let the naptha completely evaporate. What was left was barely about 10mg. So either the spice evaporated along with the naptha or 90% of the weight of the original spice evaporated, which may or may not have been spice.

Did you use the same naphta as from ur extraction by the way? That might help in determining if DMT evaporated or if it is impurities.

The dmt did not evaporate...Unless you evaporated it over the stove, you did something else wrong

How so? The impurities seem to evaporate with the naphta, right? Why can't dmt? Or do the impurities just happen to have a lower boiling point?

the spice + fresh naptha was very lightly heated in a hot water bath through a pyrex containing the spice/naptha then set in a dark area to evap.

Ohh, well.. It occured to me that purities probably don't evap with the naphta, but i don't understand the process of evaping the entirety of naphta used if you didn't filter 10mg of spice first and could have kept the rest of naphta for future re-x's.
