Hi guys,

As title states, can anyone advise of the main acacia and trees I should focus on.

There's a lot of acacias within Australia to use but alot of the goodies are NSW, VIC & WA.

Just seeing options before taking a trip down also if anyone can advise on this, thinking of buying 1kg Confusa imported from Hawaii, customs anyone?

Regards.

Thats very risky, for local plants you just have to go down the list of Aus acacia and narrow it down to your state then use a plant distribution website like plant.net to get an idea of the general location.
Maybe a.longifolia is around there?

Thanks for that site, pretty good one.

As for species, the only ones I'm knowledgeable about that are in the area are A. Maidenii and Obtusifolia, but both are very rare to find in my current location unless I go for a 2 hour drive south to the bush land, but might aswell head down to NSW coastal region, plenty down there Smile
