1. there is no evidence gramine is harmful (certainly not in the minuscule quantities we ingest)
2. almost all TEKS pull either no gramine, or negligible amounts of gramine.
endlessness showed gramine to be insoluble in pet ether (naphtha) and barely soluble in room temp limonene (warming limo doesn't affect dmt solubility anyway).
presumably hordenine has identical solubility to gramine.
i am not sure if other aromatic solvents (xylene, toluene) pull them, but other aliphatics do not.
gramine/hordenine is not a viable issue with phalaris, as far as i know.
however the chemotypes can be variable and thus you may end up with a cocktail of various tryptamines and beta-carbolines, as opposed to mostly pure dmt, like you would get from mimosa
