The leaves look right..... looks like red caapi maybe? ....did you find it growing in the wild or something? looks like a pretty rugged specimen there

It doesn't look like Banistereopisis Caapi at all to me. No floral face and there are too many grooved helix sections IMO. The moss and Lichens look more like northern woodland's than rain forest possibly.

Where did these cuttings come from?

I live in the forest. There's caapi growing here for a fact, but i want to be 100% that is caapi. I think one of those are black caapi.


Im pretty sure that this one is caapi. The thing is that if this is caapi, its really young.

Its really hard to tell with that blurry picture. I can almost make out a floral pattern in the the newest post.

Where are you located? How do you know for fact caapi grows there? I ask because some of those pics do not look like caapi to me nor does the moss look like anything Ive seen in the regions caapi grows. but Im no expert.

Caapi is pretty clearly visibly caapi. Its not usual a hard plant to ID.
