Aka when CISPA or something similar happens, and any government agency can read anything we've done on the internet ever...

Can we delete our account on this website permanently?? I couldn't find a way to do it, and I think it should be allowed if it isn't for our own protection. If we have ever said something potentially incriminating, we need to be able to delete our account, even if it causes forums to miss a couple posts. The posts could be preserved with "Account Deleted" instead of the username, but come on...

Deleting your account would do little to prevent a serious adversary. If this site is in fact the target of a large government organization you can be sure they've already indexed every single public post. Deleting an account would not delete a cached copy of the DMT-Nexus. CISPA has been in the works for years now in one form or another and people should already be in the mindset that everything posted online is permanent and logged.

What is there to tie you to what you said? How can they prove you said these things? It could have easily been someone on your computer. You could have just been playing around and having a laugh at all of the nuts here!

Internet forum posts are likely super low on prosecutors lists of how to get people. I doubt a judge would grant a warrant for such a thing. Plus, this site specifically would be low in priority, with its strict no distributing talk.

Are there people form the government cruising sites like this? You bet! But when the day comes that they are hunting down individual users of psychedelics from their forum posts, we'll have bigger issues.

There's really not much to worry about. Go about your life, and if you get spooked just quit posting.

Also, you can out the security section. There's some good info on TOR and Tails so you can browse anonymously. It's less convenient, but if you plan on asking extraction questions and the like rather than just participating in the philosophical discussions, you can feel confident that it's not linked back to you.
