Hello! This is my first post on the Nexus I am a complete DMT novice

I realize that Phalaris Arundinacea has much more 5-meo-dmt than nn dmt
but I have never tried either of the two and have no way of getting it from anyone
I think it would be an overall more spiritual experience if I try to extract it myself

I am young and have almost no supplies but the essentials for an A/B.

I realize the possibilities of gramine and beta carbolines so I have done some research.
This is the modified crude technique I typed up myself while taking notes from several
different techniques! Thanks so much for any replies


**keep in mind I was writing this to myself for later**

Collect Phalaris Grass

Put it in the freezer fresh. Take it out and let it thaw
Chop it up with scizzors (maybe grinder) and freeze
It again. Let it thaw out.

Place the resulting crude matierial into pot.
Add enough water to turn it into a soupy mixture

Add Vinegar to help get the alkaloids out. (Get ph to 5)
Vinegar contains acetic acid. The DMT
Will be in salt form after boiling.

Boil the solution with lid on.
Boil for an hour or until the
Crude mixture appears to be
Getting too low.

Next use baking soda to basify the solution (ph roughly 10)
keep Adding baking soda until it stops reacting with the
Oily globby mixture.

Now the dmt is in freebase form (able to be smoked)

Let this evaporate slowly. (Just leave out in a jar for a few nights.)

Take now even thicker dried oily glob
And place in 91% isopropyl alcohol

Stir oil until the oily glob is completed disolved into
The isopropyl.
Nexy let the isopropyl with dmt in it evaporate
(this may take anywhere from 5 hours to a couple days)

Finally you will have some sort of Brownish (possibly)
Goo.

The resulting goo should have more 5-meo-dmt then
DMT

You can vaporize it (more efficient) with a light bulb


My main question is! Will this work to any extent
WIll I be able to at least get 2 trips thats all I need.

How much phalaris should I collect to get about 5 trips
out of the yield?

Actaully it does not necessarily have more or any IME.

Not wild arundinacea where I am.

It has higher ammounts of things you have not even heard of most likely, and little to no 5meoDMT at times..and barely any DMT.

That tek will not give you anything close to pureish 5meoDMT or DMT. You will have a mix of tryptamines and beta carbolines, as well as gramine and hordenine. It is possible that the main alkaloid will be a beta carboline with very very low ammounts of any 5meoDMT or DMT.

If you are lukcy by some off chance you may have a high DMT or 5meoDMT extract..but that is highly unlikely as wild grass that is harvested will respresent an extremely wide chemotype spectrum..unlike harvesting from one select DMT or 5meoDMT strain like big medicine that is grown out from clones and harvested.

With the tek you are proposing, assuming you are using wild grass you might as well forget about it. Get some clones of big medicine or turkey red etc.

Now I just want to double check that you realize my intentions.

I do not by any means look to obtain a pure dmt.
Thats why I skipped the defatting steps.

I know the yield will be extremely low. I am using
all immature grass which could possibly have a decent
amount of alkaloids?

I really just want to get enough for one experience and I would be happy.
