I have to go away for 2 weeks. Leaving my jars and petridishes with (golden teacher-cubensis) mycelium alone.

So my objective is to slow down the growing process. I read somewhere that you can store petridishes with myc in the fridge by a min temp of 40F.

Is this the same for the jars? What is a good temperature to slow down the colonization. Without damaging the mycelium. I searched everywhere but I only find info about ideal temperatures.

It would be of great help if someone could give me advice!

Ok I found out some stuff. If you cannot case the mycelium that is ready you can refrigerate the jars.

For the jars that are not ready for casing I am not sure yet what to do. Can I continue colonizing after having 2 weeks of refrigeration?

probably. I stored my LCs in the fridge and used them after several weeks. Worked perfectly and it's basically the same thing - mycelium. So I'd say go for it.

What are LC's?
I have some jars that are not ready for casing. So you think I can continue after the refrigeration period with colonizing?

I would say so. Low temperature slows down the growth of mycelium, but not permanently. This is what mushrooms normally do out there in the nature: they adjust themselves to the external environment...
