I've used Thick-light's tek, almost to the T, with the exception of adding salt before basifying (thanks Cyb!), and as you can see, there is quite the collection in my extraction vessel, but I've yet to decant!

My question: Should I put the vessel in a heat bath, and repeat the 6x DMT Shuffle? Or am I good to just give it a good shake, let it settle and decant? Last night I proceeded to shake & settle about 5 times, every 10-15 minutes, left it still pretty warm overnight, and there they were. I did not use a heat bath, as the water was still really hot, and the lye helped with temperature as well.

I'm not a pro by any means, but I can give you some advice.

If you decant now, you will get some crystal, but I wouldn't shake it first. If you shake it, the naptha will separate again, but I would bet that much of the crystals get stuck in your basic liquid.

Personally I would just heat it and do your 6x shaking and separating again before decanting. And next time I wouldn't leave it overnight, I believe you should decant while your naptha is still warm (while it is holding the DMT, as you can see, when it cools the DMT falls out)

Thanks! Had it not been for a faulty syringe I would have decanted last night lol, but I've got 2 backups now, so I'll go about the warming and shuffle. I would agree from my previous extractions, warm is definitely best.
