I have a small mixture of dmt freebase (MHRB & water/sodium hydroxide mix)
and i was wondering what i need to do to use acetone as a solvent...
should i just use it like naptha or should i let the water evaporate and then add acetone???

If I'm not mistaken, acetone pulls a wider spectrum than naphtha, so you'd likely get more impurities from using acetone. It's definitely not recommended, but I can't say whether it would work or not.
