Hi everyone i have a question are Acacia obtusifolia and mimosa hostilis the same for dmt?

the reason i ask is because i have looked up where they are native to and it tells me that its australia, south america and mexico. but i lived in sardinia (italy) and we have mimosa growing wild there, is it still the same thing thats there that everyone use for they're extractions??

if it is then i know where im re-locating to Big grin

depends on what you mean by same. they are not the same species, but they both produce indole alkaloids (specifically DMT), and in that sense they can be the same for an extraction (though the extract would be slightly different).

read this thread
it covers ALL kinds of acacia. the first post is an index that shows all the places obtusifolia is talked about, so you don't have to read all 50 pages (or at least not in one sitting).

I will try to get a picture from my dad in sardinia of one of the trees i'm talking about and i will put it up here. They use the yellow pon-pon like flowers for the festival of the woman once a year when it flowers. regardless i'll try and get a picture of one.
Very happy
