I then mixed a 3/4 ratio of gardening lime (whoops) and rootbark. Then i added a 3/4 ratio pickling lime/ rootbark. I was thinking about washing as much base out of the bark as possible, and doing a naptha pull on the basic solution, then simmering the root bark in a ph 4 solution for hours. Basify the new solution and go for more pulls. I'm not positive whether the current basic solution is just not strong enough, or if the spice is still mostly all a salt that is unable to be pulled because its stuck in the bark. I plan to freeze and thaw the bark before simmering in the acid.
Collecting the basic solution out of the pickling lime/root bark paste, then soaking the rest in acidic solution? I do not think you got much clue about what you're doing here.
Pick a proven tek and follow it TO THE LETTER, do not fool around with it as you describe.
