Just got a strange one...

Was making a post and was rewarded with a dialogue box saying
"You can't post in the next 39 seconds"

After refresh it was fine...

(39 ... pourquoi?)

Also uploaded gifs don't appear to play...
And *.bmp don't show...

I can't view any attachments anymore, if I try to right-click and view the image it tells me: "You have insufficient rights to download this resource. Contact forum administrator for further details."

I think this is the new NAP 5000 (Nexus Addiction Preventer) that keeps a rating of everyones nexus addiction level based on the frequency and content of their posts (keywords like "love" or "awesome" or "smoalk" affect this alot). So people who are in a really bad shape might only be able to post every other day... So don't worry you're still at 39 seconds, that's not bad at all.. Just don't let it get worse..

I think I solved this one, can you please try to logout and login again? And then check if this did the trick for you?

Kind regards,

I received a similar message. I suspect you double-clicked the "post" button, and there's a 40 second spam protection. The 40 gets rounded down to 39. In this case your post was posted, but you were prevented from accidentally double posting it (if the same thing happened to you). Solution to the problem should be disabling the post button after clicking on it the first time.

Yep now it works, but also noticed that now all attachments are resized to 800px, I guess that's good for server bandwidth but it also means people can't download the hi-res originals anymore.. Was this intended?

edit: actually bandwidth is the wrong word for that but it's what the webhosting services always use and I don't know the right one in english..

You can now click on an attached image to directly download it in the original format, I hope you like it.

Hey Trav, it seems some of the new members are getting a 404 error when they click the "my profile" link at the top.

You've probably been tweaking today but I thought I'd point out this:

Various times very slow to access forum (not other parts) and occasional 404's (could be transatlantic bottlenecking)
Loading times of pics (inc. Avatars) slow on occasion.
Also gifs..gone or not running.

not sure if they are bugs or proxy issues...anyway there you go..Thumbs up

Yesterday and today I had to do a lot of updates. Mostly to work on stability after the previous updates. It can happen that tomorrow there will also be a few hickups due to me updating the software.

Monday it should all work nicely again. Thank you for your patience.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Trav, when opening a members profile, and then statistics, everyones post count shows as 100% of all forum posts?

Searching seems to only return a max of 200 results for me right now (starting with most recent). Noticed while searching in the Posted By area, but the same occurred searching for 'naphtha' in Posts.
50 results per page maxed at 4 pages, 25 results maxed at 8 pages (~200 search results).
