I'm reading through Q21Q21's tek, and it looks like the one I'm going to use. The only ingredient that isn't completely food-safe is naphtha, but it looks like the toxicity is very low. Regardless, I'm wondering if there are any food-safe alternatives. I assume naphtha is popular because it can be found easily, but I can obtain various lab grade chemicals. Any ideas?

D-limonene
You can't do anything about yesterday, but you can do everything with tomorrow.

Everything I write on this forum is pure gibberish and fanciful nonsense!

here's q21 tek, read it through and you will find a food safe way to do extraction with d-limonene. though as far as I understand it will not be completely white spice, it will be yellow [white mixed with red.]

it will be full-spectrum, not necessarily yellow (mine came out blood red).
but yea, the food safe extraction is a jim-jam (jungle dmt + white dmt) extraction.

he talks about the different kinds of DMT in the beginning of the tek

also i recommend adding an acid cook step (or a hot acid soak), rather than just adding hot water with your vinegar (i just threw my acidified bark in the oven at 195ºF for a good while).

also also when you have the limo on top of the bark, stirring (with a metal or glass object) until the limo changes color, this will saturate it, allowing it to be salted MANY times before you need to do another pull with the solvent.

if this is your first extraction, start small (50g should be enough to give you a result so you know if you did it correct, without wasting your material).

i noticed that long after i thought i would have no dmt left, i was still getting more from salting the solvent, and getting A LOT more from pulling again (in fact i wouldn't be that surprised if there is more dmt to be had, but the amount per salting is no longer getting worth the evapping, and i have more dmt than i know what to do with so i am lazy)

Q21Q21 food-safe is the only tek i have tried (only done two extractions, both extremely successful) but i highly recommend it.

Oh my mistake, I meant an alternative for pure N,N-DMT, not the full alkaloid spectrum. I have some d-limonene ready to go for jimjam, but I do want to try some white pure N,N-DMT.

I read that naphtha is the only ingredient that isn't entirely food-safe, so I was wondering if there is an alternative that is. Maybe it doesn't matter though.
