The sides of the glass jars became opaque, visibility was reduced and some basic plant gunk got into the turkery baster when decanting....
I just read the FAQ's on this topic, but I want to clarify. If the naphtha pulls are in a wide glass tray is transferring the liquid to a narrow glass container and adding water/sodium carbonate really the best way to separate the bubbles of plant gunk/sodium hydroxide? Why not just carefully suck up the droplets of basic plant liquid at the bottom of the naphtha/dmt tray with a plastic eyedropper and squirt them back into the main extraction jar, and then carefully perform another pull from the jar in a few minutes?
Quote:Washing spice has as a main function to eliminate any possible lye or other polar impurities (like droplets of the mimosa basic mix) from the final product, which might make the smoke harsher.
What risk is there in vaping the spice using a GVG when such impurities are present?
Or would I be better off just scraping up the whole tray after it has dried and doing a recrystillization, decanting with a glass eyedropper?
