I've already posted a thread on problems I had with my first pull of my first extraction thru q21q21's tek. With the help of others I isolated the problem to the consistency I had-it was too dry and therefore it absorbed my solvent.
well something else happened... I've been letting my mix dry out since the naphtha is still evaporating from the mix. I believe it was going to be ready today (2 days after first pull) for a successful pull.. until my roommate went for coffee, which knocked the window sill against my jar, which sent my jar straight down to the kitchen floor.
so I scooped about 80% of the mix, the other 20% I had to throw away as it lay embedded in a towel that I had wrapped around the jar, plus whatever was stuck with the glass. Most of the glass didn't fall in the mix, but there were some shards of glass that were in the mix. I tried my best to pick only the mix from the ground and put it in my larger bowl, which is stainless steel. I'll be replacing the jar today.
Am I completely screwed? I don't know if it'd be safe to do an extraction on a mix that possibly has glass specs in it, but I'm no expert, so maybe it doesn't matter since the naphtha will only be pulling the dmt out, and not the glass? I could also try getting a sifter or something to put the mixture through, which would filter out any glass that isn't small enough to get thru a screen on a sifter.

Open your mind! Those without a welcome mat for new ideas won't ever learn how to live their life to the fullest.
existentialism - the philosophical idea that your own experiences & thinking initially determine why we exist and subsequentley, how we can fulfill our existence (our life). /////// I believe most of us come to the conclusion that we exist to exist, that there is no other answer for life. What we all debate in our own minds is how we should go about fulfilling our lives.
