Hey Nexus,

I've been around for a while but as you can see this is my first post. The info. on this site has certainly proved to be invaluable and I'll be writing an introduction essay shortly to get acquainted but was just wondering if someone could help me out real quick.

SWIM did an A/B extraction on 200g of Acacia confusa and all went extremely well. He has a fair bit of knowledge in chemistry so that certainly helped. However, after the freeze precipitation with naphtha, SWIM scrapped the bottom of the dish to collect a sticky residue that had formed which had some crystals bound to it. They formed long spirals as he was scrapping them and so he put them on a piece of paper to dry which they appear to be doing quite nicely. I've posted a picture of what they look like down below as well as a picture of some nice fluffy crystals he got from the same dish. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I should do with them. SWIM was thinking maybe chopping them up and recrystallizing with activated carbon as they have a slight yellow tint to them.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
