Can you do a regular STB tek on acacia confusa just like you would on MHRB?
And does this give you the same product that comes from MHRB or is it not pure "DMT"...
Any help on this plant is appreciated.

Stb is not recommended on confusa. An A/B is ideal, and confusa contains about 50/50 nmt/dmt according to research, the experience of other members, and my personal experience. The NMT will supposedly fall out of the naphtha at room temp though so you can seperate the majority of it out if you let your naphtha sit out to evap down before putting it in the freezer or evaping all the way. Only a few find the way, some don't recognize it when they do - some... don't ever want to.- Cheshire Cat

In my brief play with A/B on A. confusa lower stem bark the NMT got picked up easily by the naphtha but also dropped out quite easily too (it was light amber and oily, after a few months storage became more of a pink colour). At room temperature a lot of it dropped out allowing me to do a very crude separation, then I freeze precipated to get the rest out. As said this created a crude separation, all the alks I got out were mixed, I ended up with a few different ratios DMT/NMT after a bit of playing about. I guess repeating the process a few times over you could come out with a reasonably clean product. Maybe there are more suitable solvents or methods that will give cleaner results.

By separation I meant just literally let it sit out overnight at room temp. I woke up and found a room temp snowglobe. I then decanted the naphtha and collected the room temp crystals. Put the naphtha in the freezer and more precipitated out. I'm going to guess here that the freezer product is more mixed than the room temp product. No way am I saying I think the room temp product is pure NMT as I'm sure some DMT latched onto some of the room temp product. But I believe it is mainly NMT due to the fact that DMT doesn't precip at room temp out of 50 ml of naphtha. I agree with d*l*b that it is a crude method of seperation. I smoked the supposed NMT at 10 mg and 15 mg with barely any effects though, which leads me to believe that not much DMT preciped out with it at room temp. My usual DMT dosage is 10-25 mg freebase. Abrazaderas wrote:is NMT an good? Ha, I suppose that is all subjective. I find it to be odd stuff, but then DMT is not exactly devoid of oddness! I've only worked with it (mixed alkaloids) around 10 times with a few of those being underdoses with little effect. I've had very mixed experiences with it. It seems to be less potent than DMT. Effects I have seen have been quite mixed so far, but more abstract and with less visual complexity than DMT journeys. One experience was so oddly abstract I left with the thought in my head that "This is not something that is supposed to be experienced by humans", not being human myself I've had a couple more goes since (last night actually) but these were dosed somewhat cautiously and without the use of a scale and resulted in underdoses.

The dose isn't that much higher than DMT, I need a fair dose to get anywhere with all tryptamines and of my memory serves me correctly somewhere around 40mg (in the GVG) resulted in an immersive experience, whereas I find about 30-33mg to be good with DMT and 40mg to be too much.

i have worked with acacia confusa lots tried many different ways and the way that worked the best for me was i put the bark in a blender with water blend it till its small particles then putt it in a slow cooker for a day with a good splash of vinagar then blend it again then transfer to a bottle while its still warm i put 100g of lye for every 100 grams of bark shake let basify for an hour then do your naptha pulls i am able to yeild the same as mhrb this meathod but a good percentage of that in nmt but still an amazing experience

So wait extracting from acacia confusa gives you NMT and not DMT? or a mixture? and smoking a DMT/NMT mixture is not as strong/good as smoking just DMT?
Is this the general idea i am getting from this thread?
So is it even worth trying acacia?

yes it is a mix of nmt and dmt.. but thats not a bad thing at all the nmt just adds its own character to the experience and means you might need to dose slightly higher. I think acacia is worth pursuing yeah... I've have absolutely life changing experiences with it and love the spice from it. confusa is not the only dmt containing acacia either.. its not as if its a huge inconvenience having nmt in there.. tryptamines are that powerful anyway that the amount the dosage would need to be increased by is quite small
