I'ts good that they might be sundried. You might just try an insy bit and see if they potentiate DMT or psilocybin and also see if they give you any GI trouble. If they don't do much in the way of psychoactivity and they seem to give you a bit of stomach discomfort or a headache at all then you may need to boil them up or bake them in an oven. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

On the insecticide tangent, Amanita muscaria isn't directly toxic to flies or other insects...i.e. it doesn't kill them. It simply stuns them, knocks them out. If said flies are removed from the fungus they will recover quickly without any apparent negative effects. Also quite a few drugs used by Man are insecticides evolved by plants for defense; nicotine and caffeine spring to mind. The only time amanitas have worked for me was when I consumed them fresh, which tends not to be recommended, as the heating I think converts ibotenic acid into the less toxic muscimol. There was a good synergy with ganja noticed during the experience, and I was still feeling it the next day. Personally I definitely prefer psilocybin mushroom intoxication. However I do think the toxicity of fly agarics are over stated, and it is an incredibly ancient hallucinogen.
