Have you had trouble with the acetates > freebase conversion listed in step 6?

He mentions how sometimes after evaporating the IPA/acetone you will just be left with waxy goo. How often does this happen? And is there a way to prevent this from happening and ensure that every evaporation will lead to crystals?

Thanks for responses in advance.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

The goal is to obtain crystal freebase with minimal losses.

You wont get crystals that way. IME the most youll get is either goo or wax, and seems to be a bit random why one or the other.

For crystals, either go with fumaric acid and conversion, or you can try, after you converted your acetates to freebase and got a goo, to either repeat the process (redissolve the goo in warm vinegar, filter to remove non-actives, evaporate, rebase, re-pull with IPA/acetone and reevap), or you can just redissolve the goo in warm vinegar, filter to remove non-actives and then add sodium hydroxide to the solution, which after a few days might crystalliz the spice out of the water.

I'm thinking about this wrong.

I might not actually want crystals. I'm not sure what it is but I will try to describe it:

It was orange in color. Was solid but not anything rigid. If i left it out in the heat, it would melt. If i squished it together with my finger, it would melt and also spread very easily. It didn't look sharp at all like crystals would.

On my rough un-scientific scale it would work like this:

Clear crystals (pronounced-edges) at the top of the pure DMT list.
Colorful goo (smooth goopy edges) when you have more alkaloids present aka JIMJAM.

So based on what you describe, Maxx, you are looking for somewhat between these two. Not goopy to where it has no form, but enough to where it was mold-able and has some color. You can likely still follow endlessness' steps (not sure which option is preferred for your result) and get your desired product. Each time you follow his steps it will result with more pure DMT while removing some other alkaloids (expect a slight loss of yield) afaik.

You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.
