ok, I knew this would happen but I did it anyway... SO, I like to mix 50% 20x Caapi leaf with 50% passionflower then mix that 1:1 ratio with spice...normally I only use White or Yellow spice. Well for some odd reason a certain plant material I had was consistently pulling light tan to dark orange spice and EVERYONE I know who tried it said it was the strongest stuff they have ever had! So, I had the bright idea to use the orange stuff to make changa, when the orange spice hit the acetone it created layers (which never happens with yellow or white stuff) the bottom layer turned as brown as the caapi leaf and the top layer was orange and wouldnt FULL dissolve...I let it dry anyways and when I tried some...it was NOT like the changa I had made in the past, it just never gets you there and even my pipe I use smells more like plant material than that burnt plastic smell we all know...PLEASE can anybody give me some ideas to save my changa? I made like 7 grams of this stuff and its useless... thanks!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Stop If your smelling burnt plastic while vaping you are burning your dmt!

If you used 1g organic matter to 1g dmt and it didnt leave significant residue behind after the changa dried out there is no way you lost dmt or effected its potency. It cant just disappear into the ether its in there. The orange spice has plant fats so these may not have dissolved like pure white spice does but it should be fine. Perhaps this layering you described has made slight inconsistencies in the infusion of the leaf so just mix your dried material thoroughly to evenly distribute all the goodness.

DMT can be massively different feeling each different journey even when its all from the same batch keep that in mind. I highly doubt your ruined anything. Its all in there. Dmt with maoi has different characteristics than pure crystal, its a slower on set so maybe your confusing this for weaker product.

Pack a bowl of your changa and puff tuff! Dont weight out doses like its freebase form.

Did you warm your acetone to dissolve the dmt in?
I am not gonna lie, shits gonna get weird!

no I did not warm the acetone, I have made plenty of changa before with an amazing effect using white and yellow spice....this stuff I made has a massively different effect, even when puffing continuously on it, everyone I give it to agrees its just not the same even though I have mixed thoroughly while it dried and after it dried, seems no matter how much I smoke of it it just isnt going to blast anyone off or go far enough. my usual changa, with ONE hit I am off in another dimension. I doubt warming the acetone would work because once it cools the fats will still float to the top, I just think this batch is ruined..
