Hey all. I was doing a xylene pull and i decided to build an evaporation chamber for my room. over 4 days the xylene all evaporated, down to this yellow goo as suspected. (i wanted to experience this goo for myself) it was still kinda runny but there were some dry crystal formations away from the puddle.

i decided to scrape the crystals that formed on the upper lip of the plate. i got a razor blade full of goo. -_-......
i let the gooey razor blade sit on some foil.

I came back like an hour later and saw that the razor with goo started turning a tan milky color. so i chopped that stuff up. Even got the dish with the extra goo and spread it around.
next thing i knew, i have like 6 grams of this yellowy powder that just keeps getting whiter and whiter (from its original yellow tinge). its sitting near the window laying on a chopping dish drying more.

[im in the PacNW so its cold as fuck right now. (my room is as cold as outdoors[50-65 degrees)]

i still want to do a xylene only evap to make sure there are no additives, before i smoke this shit.

but shit iv never chopped so many crystals at once.
im mostly posting this to get some general input from you guys and input on something i could potentially use to clean this mystery powder (i think nmt)

What did you extract from?

If it's from MHRB it's just DMT with some extra oils and maybe small amounts of another compound.

I always just smoked it as is and found it quite nice.

I'd recommend redissolving in acetone then re-evapping to clear up excess xylene though.

i hear acetone destroys product. is naph not as good? iv used acetone for changa once but never to clean.

i don't think i could smoke this stuff, it still smells like xylene

i already pulled tons of dmt from the bark with naph before doing these xylene pulls... the fact that i have so much crystal right now is kinda throwing me off. if it's really dmt with slight amounts of nmt and xylene then fuck yes! i hit the mother load in this pull.

Acetone will not harm your product.

Cleaning it up with naphtha if you're more comfortable, but if there's much oxidized DMT it's you may lose some yield.

Re-evapping in acetone always seemed to do the trick for me.

I did pretty much the same as you OP. I just smoke it as is or make changa with everclear. There is a slight difference in effects than the pure white crystals pulled from naptha

so i dissolved the crystals in hotish naph
but it seemed to pull that orange into it too. im trying to let decant but i foresee many rextalizations to separate the orange from crystals.

A lot of people prefer the orange spice

I would have just recrystalized from iso or acetone..dissolving in naptha to freeze precip is a waste of yield..guaranteed you will loose some DMT.
