hello everyone,

I have been reading more and more about extractions on the DMT nexus, and i would soon like to preform a non-toxic tek like Q21Q21's tek. it says that either Xylene or d-limonene can be used, is this the case for the other extraction teks as well? can Xylene always be used instead of d-limo? its easier for me to get xylene then d-limo.

thank you

Xylene and D-Limo both dissolve a fair amount of DMT. Though neither can be freeze precipitated, so you will have to salt out the product. D-Limo smells way better than Xylene, which has a very strong (attention grabbing) smell. Both can be used, though personally I prefer D-Limo.

Peace

D-limonene is the way to go if you're concerned about the toxicity. Liquid paraffin is an alternative; for some reason it doesn't see much use as a solvent around here but it works well apparently.

This is interesting! Do you have a source or reference for this?
