I'm in the middle of a STB extraction using Noman's tek. I've obtained a pyrex glass baking disk for easy evaporation. And i'm wondering if i need to add them to seperate containers or if i can just put the disk in the freezer containing roughly 300-400 ml naphta. extracting 100g MHRB.

The reason i'm asking is because i'm having difficulty decanting the naphta in seperate containers without spilling . :'( of all the problems i thought could occur this isn't one i thought of. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Smile

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Perhaps evaporating down some of the naphtha you have to maybe 100ml and then freeze precip would give the best results. That way you make sure the solution is closer to saturated. The closer to saturated the more you will pull on a freeze.

Cheers
Thumbs up

I've decided on freezing it first to see what i can pull and then reusing the naphta and evaporate a lot of it as soon as i have more time on my hands.

In a sample container there's already precipitating tiny dots of white on the edges of the jar. I'm wondering if the DMT looks different when the naphta is saturated with DMT.
