I can't see why you couldn't back-salt out of your nps.

So whether you go A/B or STB...
Basify to pH 13
Pull with non-polar solvent (naphtha, toluene, xylene, dcm, d-limo, doesn't really matter, imo)
Salt out of non-polar solvent with FASW/FASA/FASI or vinegar
Convert salts to freebase by your chosen method (mini a/b, amor fati's work, etc.)
Re-x as desired
Fin.

Fwiw, I have never tried this, but I assume it would work just fine. Perhaps someone with real-world experience can chime in Wink

etc
etc

thanx for quick reply.

It is clear from your posts that you want to extract chacruna, but may I ask why? Chacruna has so little dmt that makes its extraction not worthwhile. With a 0.1-0.3% dmt in dry weight, you'd be lucky to get 200mg per 100g of chacruna. It is totally not worth your time and energy in boiling, straining, reducing, pulling and so forth. If you are looking to extract dmt from something else other than mhrb, then chaliponga is your call; it is leafy just as chacruna (that is, same challenges+same lessons/extractions experiences to be gained) and the yield of 0.8-1% is far more rewarding.

Chacruna is good to include in ayahuasca brews (for those wishing to add this very traditional and popular ingredient!), not extracting.

Would like to use chacruna because:
There is alot of it growing around here in pots Smile
It just keeps growing and growing, sending out new shoots and one keeps repotting these new shoots and those keep growing too!
Now while am not particular interested/motivated to experiencing short acting high intensity psychedelics (right now), being one who is a little slow and likes to spend more time in the space to do more work, my wife very much enjoys the quicker experience.
So I have more than enough plant material to go mess around with.

So getting 1,000gm of Chacruna is not a problem around here I have all the materials just waiting and I dont need to rely on plant materials being shipped for my paranoid mind Smile

Ah, that then makes all the difference!

Enjoy your harvests and extractions then!
