I was looking over the EASY Harmaloid Freebase TEK- and noticed intial steps include grinding (in a coffee grinder), boil 1/2 hour, filter, boil, filter, boil, filter. Immediately I thought one could use a "French press" (coffee plunger) which clogs less and is easier to unclog than disposable filters, and then I wondered if it was possible to use a drip coffee maker, or coffee percolator or espresso machine, etc. I'm guessing maybe the temperatures aren't hot enough, but is this even worth trying? Could I make up for lower temperatures by doing more cycles of brewing?
An added benefit would be discreteness. It would be a lot more inconspicuous for one to buy a lot of coffee making equipment (and possibly cheaper) instead of a lot suspicious-looking lab equipment sent to a residence.
There are other teks to which this might also apply, obviously B. Caapi teks and possibly more.
