You could mix it with sodium carbonate and a bit of water in a wider container, let it react, dry it with the food dehydrator or just air dry, scrape it off into a glass and pull with acetone or IPA or ethanol, and evaporate. The product might solidify into something more waxy if you insist a bit on drying, scraping and rescraping it. But it might also stay as oily, in which case you can infuse some herbs with it.
What was the exact problem you had with evaporating xylene with the food dehydrator? It took too long? Or final product was not a solid (which is normal for xylene) ?
