I've never tried before, but based on the solubility of ergine, i can give you a list of the best candidates. Considering that the solvent must be safe enough to ingest, that limits the possibilities.
Water(+acid) - although ergine is only sparing soluble, addition of an acid could help. Lemon juice comes to mind. Vinegar maybe? Would be kind of gross.
Ethanol (everclear) - the only drinkable alcohol, so this would be okay to try. Again, poor solubility, but i dont work with lsa so wouldnt know if it would be suitable.
A mixture of the two of the above methods is a pretty common solution. Maybe ethanol+sour salts (citric acid) or another acid.
Best bet? DMSO. Pretty freely available, edible, and lsa would be pretty likely to be soluble. Downside? it tastes like, smells like , and is likely to make you smell like garlic.
There are likely to be other possibilities - natural oils, like limonene. I dont think limonene would work, but i dont know. Youll probably have to do some experimentation.
