But aya has the potential to heal by virtue of its other constituents that may synergise with dmt or act on their own. Sort of like drinking some chamomile tea to fight off cold, but with a tryptamine twist and more disgusting taste.

Agreed. It has not been proved that Aya is not a healing plant, but then again, it hasn't been proven to heal AIDS and cancer. It has been proven to have a profound effect on people's lives.
