hi guys

Swim used the Tek :"DMT for the Masses by Noman" last night and had followed the instructions tot he letter. Swim has done it 3 times before and has always had roughly 0.8-1% yield.

Swim made 4 bathches of 100g MHRB with 1500ml water & 100g lye with and 100ml naptha.


Using this Tek, one is not required to heat the naptha or anything, and Swim has not done that on previous occasions.

Swim placed the four bowls with 100g of naptha/dmt in the freezer last night at 22:30 and checked it this morning(12 hours later). The naptha had gone only a little cloudy and there were were but a few crystals starting to form.

On previous occasions when swim has used this tek, upon waking up in the morning the sides of the bowls were normally already covered in crystals. Today, no so much.

Things that have changed since swims last extraction.

1) MHRB was older than previous batches used. It was purchased 6 months ago so pretty dry when swim crushed it.

2) The freezer is different, seems like it should cold enough but not sure.

3) Also, after placing the MHRB in the water/lye mixture swim stirred and shook it, and then left it for one hour, but did not shut the lid of the container during that hour.

4) 100ml of naptha per bowl, so four bowls, on previous occasions, swim had at the most 75ml of naptha per bowl in the freezer.

5) Swim had put more naptha in with the MHRB at the end last night as per the tek and when swim went to agitate it this morning he noticed that at the bottom of the jars there was still a lot of fibres that had not been dissolved by the lye. Should swim take the naptha off and add more lye to the mix so as to ensure that everything is broken down? And if so then how much more, considering that he has already put 1g lye per 1g mhrb?

Sorry i know that most of these don't seem like things that should affect the outcome but they are the only difference between this extraction and previous successful ones.

Do you guys recommend evaporating some of the naptha off?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly, if you used 75ml before and now 100ml and you get less crystals its probably a solubility issue. I would evap half of it and let it freeze precipitate and see if that works.

Also you should do a second and third pull to get more out of there as, if that was all, the solution would be much more saturated with DMT.

So swim just gets it out of the freezer and then opens it up and lets 50% evaporate, and then back in the freezer?

Does it not matter that it will get back to room temperature for that period?

Swim starts to think he was lucky on previous extractions not to have such issues

you should let it freeze for a longer period, just wait a full day and let nature handle buisness because when i was having solubility issues all i needed to do was do a partial evap, and freeze for longer and i pretty much got all the spice out of it.
