I'm investing in a blender for powdering mimosa hostilis, Which one out of these 2 do you think is best??? The first is a Philips which is obviously the better make out of the 2. also its 600w compared to the cookworks 500w. the only thing that concerns me is the cookworks has a glass jug instead of plastic, also the philips is reduced from £40 so its obviously a more expencive blender it also has better reviews! I'm stuck to decide but i'm swaying towards the philips as i think build quality will be alot better also im not sure glass or plastic will make much diffrence? Any help appreciated. Thanks for reply, that's just out of my price range unfortunately! it looks good though, my mate had a cheap spice grinder that wasn't effective at all but i think he got a budget one. I think on the blender side of things the 600w would be best as its more powerfull, hopefully someone who's actually used a similar blender can put some input in before i head to the shop tomorrow "And then came me the destructive teen with a handfull of bars and a mind full of dreams"

Me thinks coffee grinder is better than blender . The bark is very tough stuff to deal with. Don't spend too much , even a decent coffee grinder will burn out on this bark after a while . Not so powerful or large (think it holds something like 25g) but I’ve been using this for a couple of years, has stood up well to the abuse. http://www.amazon.co.uk/...ce-Grinder/dp/B001I9YZ44

d*i*b how much can you grind at a time and does it create a fine powder? so you would reccomend this over a blender? as the reviews on amazon are not very good? Thanks for your input! "And then came me the destructive teen with a handfull of bars and a mind full of dreams"

Yesterday I used a Philips at a friend's house and it worked wonderfully! EDIT: Im not sure what model it was though. Listen to a man of experience: thou wilt learn more in the woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach thee more than thou canst acquire from the mouth of a master. St. Bernard

Thanks for your input! I saw some of the reviews there weren’t so good but I have been using mine for over two years and it is still alive, despite abusing it with rue, mimosa and cebil. If I remember right it holds around 25g at a time, I just 3/4 fill it, whatever that ends up being in weight.
