I was following this extraction https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...n_and_Bufojam_Changa_Tek and when it came to step 8 where you add sodium carbonate I used Sodium Bicarbonate that I had baked in a pan. It looks like the conversion happened and it was sodium carbonate but when I added it to the solution it foamed up. I guess there was still sodium bicarbonate in it, should I be worried? Did I just ruin it? Or can I continue as if it didn't happen and just add more sodium carbonate?

Vinegar + sodium carbonate also bubbles, so it isnt necessarily a sign something went wrong.. You can always bake some more sodium bicarb (be sure to weigh before and after to see if conversion has been done successfully, by losing around 1/3 of the weight) and add to the mix.

Please let us know how the extraction goes for you, I could never get a good working product with bufotenine extractions.
