Okay so I let a couple ounces of yohimbe powder sit in vinegar for a good two days or so, I had then drained this substance and had added diluted lye to my mixture. It had instantly changed to a milky white color from the teaish color it once had so it had obviously reacted... My question is now it has decanted by itself making two separate layers. The top turned back to it's regular color that I started and the bottom is now milky white. Should I use a baster and remove the top layer and then what? Or should I add heated naphtha in attempt to pull the yohimbine alkaloid straight out?
Next question, I pulverised a good hundred grams or so of cebils. From there I jumped straight to base and added my lye solution (turning it black). Then I had used heated naphtha, shook it, decanted, and pulled. My substance left is uhm, a non-drying gel that still smells of cebils and has an orange tint. Any recommendations?
