It says the following:

"Scrape all your sparkling dirt off your t-shirt and into a clear glass container and add just enough methyl alcohol (ethyl should work too though)"

I then looked up "ethyl alcohol" and noticed it was also considered grain alcohol.

So, since Methyl alcohol is something you don't really want to risk putting in your body, can you use Everclear? That is grain alcohol right.

Ok, so since no one really knows the answer to the above question. Assuming you use the methyl alcohol, does any of the MA actually end up in the final product?

Everclear is grain alcohol... I'm pretty sure methyl evaporates clean but I haven't tried myself so not sure.
This, what I'm experiencing now, is a whole new level of my being.

methyl alcohol is methanol - OK to use as long as you know the risks and how to handle it. Main thing is whatever you do with it, let your final product evaporate well for at least 1 day and then some to remove any traces of methanol.

Ethyl alcohol or ethanol is your everyday alcohol, the intoxicating stuff humanity uses for millennia, so everclear will do; 190-proof is the best you can get.
