I agree, 5-10mg would be a comfortable dose and give you a vague idea of what you are in for. If you feel comfortable after that, you could do 10-15mg and so on - It starts getting intense for me around the 15mg mark, if smoked correctly. one more thing can you do it in a bong or would that solidify the DMT crystals. if yes then why does it not do this with THC.

first and pretty much only way I smoke spice is in a bong sandwitch with herb. lil herb some spice and herb lil herb on top. 1-3 hits good to go.

but dmt has a very low melting point wouldn't a bong condense it to a solid?
and what do people put in a spice mixture and is there a freebase maoi

I don't think it's ever a good idea to start with a large dose on your first try.
Also, a bong is an excellent smoking device. Works just like 'the machine'
Just put 5 smoking screens on top of each other on the pipe end and melt your dmt in it
