I have finally gotten D-Limonene, and it is my understanding that I will need to salt out the jungle spice" before evaporating the solvent down to recover the spice. The only acids I have are acetic acid and muriatic acid, but I've read that fumaric acid is preferable. WIll muriatic acid work? Or citric acid even?

Check BLAB tek.

You can use any of those acids you mentioned to salt limonene, but the thing is that when you evaporate the acqueous layer, your dmt salts will be goo, not solid. Thats the main advantage of dmt fumarate, because it forms a very stable solid. Also with fumarate you can do FASI instead of FASW (again, check BLAB tek), and the fumarates will precipitate straight out of the solvent after some days.

Then you have to convert the salt to freebase if you want to smoke it. With fumarates, I know you can convert them in a way that crystallizes the freebase, with acetic acid I could not get it to precipitate out of water like the BLAB tek conversion, and when doing the sodium carbonate paste conversion (just mixing the salt with sodium carb, adding bit of water to make paste, drying, pulling with IPA or acetone or ethanol), I only got the acetates to transform into a goo , but its perfectly active, infuse some herbs with it and be happy Very happy I can imagine same would be true for hcl and citrate salts.

I admire the position held by endlessness, eco-friendly, healthiest on the body for the 2nd quickest return (not counting injection or sub lingual), cutting edge home chemistry technique also. Thats what I would study.
