Alright, so I have about 1.5L of bark/lye sitting in flask and there's just a very slim layer of naptha that would take a bit of effort to get out atm (i.e. transferring to multiple other containers and out, or getting a new device for siphoning).

I'm mostly interested if it would interfere with pulls done with xylene.

No, it will most likely just mix with the xylene.

well, I mixed the xylene in, probably 150-200ml, not sure exactly, but.... after I shook it up, it appears to have become brown. I'm not entirely sure, but I think the bottle is more full than when I started, so I assume at least some of that is emulsion, idk, I'm going to wait a while and see if it separates more. I'm pretty sure the xylene/separate layer is much bigger...

Regardless, after a while I'm going to pull "the brown" and then do a vinegar wash and see what comes out!
