Of the ones you mention, Xylene is best, with limo a close second. I've found they are about the same, except limo doesn't seem to separate from water quite as well, it will get cloudy and never clear up. Xylene is more "reusable" for multiple pulls, but it's so cheap it isn't worth the bother. Maybe that is part of the reason I prefer xylene, because I try to use the limo as efficiently as possible due to cost.
I prefer to extract the full spectrum and clean up after, it seems like I get the most out of it that way. FASA in xylene has given me the best yields straight to fumarates, but if you're planning to convert to freebase anyway, vinegar or HCL in water washes will work just as well. After basing that, a heptane or naptha re-x will clean it up plenty enough.
