what is the first thread that will get me started? there is so many stickies, some slang terms, i am lost and dont understand anything. which is the best thread for newbies to teach us step by step what means what which plants what is extraction, how its done, etc..

i checked some out but they were all "do this" but how and what is "this"? any pointers would be good. thanks.

if i could offer one piece of advice it would be that, after you check those pages thoroughly of course, that you dont do anything hastily.

there is a lot of information here; some of it is conflicting, and a lot of it claims to be superior to the last bit. figure out what you want, what you can do, and LASTLY how to do it.

the cumulation of all the stuff on the the site should teach you that there is no RIGHT way to do things, but there are definitely things you will want to avoid.

ask questions. most people on the nexus are helpful and want to accommodate everyone else as much as possible. you might find a lot of people reading your posts but not necessarily responding to them... patience is a virtue. if you get discouraged, just keep reading.
