I just did my first extraction last night using q21q21's tek #1. Everything went perfect and the product was amazing, it was my first time trying the full spectrum stuff. I've been thinking about it for a while now and want to figure out a way to get clean crystals out of the jimjam, but my only problem is the only naptha I can get is dirty. It's Crown VM&P, which is supposedly the best to get in the states, but it leaves behind a nasty clear residue every time I do an evap test. I could honestly see a lot of people overlooking it since it is clear, but I'll try not to get off topic. Right now I have some 90% isopropyl, d-limonene, and vinegar. I can make some washing soda if I need to, but I'm curious if simply washing the goo would actually yield a more solid product. I would prefer to extract more pure DMT instead of just purifying the jimjam (just to try some variety), but even a more solid form of the jimjam would be good. Any speculation on this? or any recommendations for different chems to get? (acetone that I have was dirty as well)

If you can get some fumaric acid and some magnesium sulphate, you can use your magnesium sulphate to dry your IPA, then use the dry IPA to dissolve your jimjam, then add FASI to precipitate fumarate crystals. This you can use to consume orally. If you want smokable crystals, just dissolve the fumarates in a bit of warm water, and add a bit of saturated sodium carb solution till it stops cloudying, and into the fridge for 3 days or so to crystallize your DMT freebase out of water. So, I was able to acquire some clean acetone recently, and am about to attempt a clean up on some jimjam I already have. It's dissolved in vinegar so I'm guessing I would need to cook the vinegar out first, then dissolve the leftover goo into the acetone after that (even tho in your thread about phthalates you said to salt them out first), and then decant the acetone away from the leftovers? or should I filter through a coffe filter or what? thanks
