This is only the second time I have smoked DMT but it was... amazing. This is the first I have really... I dunno had altered perception of reality? Before I started I put on a song called Terrapin Station by the Grateful Dead, I chose it because the whole song is a really trippy story, and this definitely effected the nature of my trip. This was only my second time so I decided to go with I think around 20mg. With the first hit I started feeling the best feeling I've ever had. Then with the second hit the walls kinda started moving, like breathing or rippling water. Then with the third hit I closed my eyes and I could really "feel" the music, I mean inside of me. It started to vibrate my being, and it kinda felt like I could feel the notes being resonated with my being. The song was creating a story, in my head. I'm not sure that the story even had any relevance to the song but I could see a series of... visions I guess? At one point there were these enormous mountains, unbelievably steep, and there were hundreds upon hundreds of skeletons dancing on them. Not evil, menacing beings, they were the Skulls and Roses skeleton, from Grateful Dead, and they were all dancing to the song. When I opened my eyes it was already about 15 minutes since I closed them and it took me a good 10 minutes to really get back in it. Then I kinda stumbled over to my computer and wrote the most I could about the trip on notepad.
That was the most amazing experience I've ever had, the music was so beautiful.

Glad you had an interesting journey, and I'm sure you're just getting your feet wet. Next time maybe join the skeletons? Dancing with the dead can be one hell of a time. Happy traveling. "I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."

Oh, and "wow" is definitely my most-used word when it comes to DMT. "I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."

Sounds great! I'm sure you have much deeper to go! I don't know how listening to music will work for you long term. Many folks like me like to use silence or very white noise type music and even wear earplugs to block any outside noise. Sound can keep you somewhat attached to this reality when you are attempting to transcend it....but everyone has their own preferences! Welcome to the Nexus my friend! Peace

I'm sure I have much, much deeper to go, but this was still an awesome experience. And I think I will try without music next time, the only reason I did have music was because the first time I smoked it I didn't listen to music and I wanted to see the effect it would have.
