Well today I tried DMT for the first time. Now, this is the first hallucinogen I have ever used, and I've been told that going straight to DMT without experiencing either acid or shrooms isn't recommended but hey man you guys try finding those, it's not easy. The only other psychedelic I have indulged in was opium a few times. My buddy got .2 of a gram of DMT powder and we split it between the two of us. I packed it in a bowl with some weed and took a long hit. Unfortunately I did cough it out sooner than I would have liked, but the body buzz was instant. He then took a hit and felt it more powerfully than I did. We had a little left, so with the help of my brother we packed a third bowl and smoked it between the two of us. Now I did NOT break through, but the overall experience was wonderful. It left me with a feeling of overwhelming joy and safety, it actually felt very similar to opium. In the end I was happy with my first trip "out there" and I hope I break through the next time.
Peace out and have a Grate day!

No offence, but how could you even compare it to opium? I can tell you first hand opiates will kill you bud. If not physically, definately spiritually. Glad you enjoyed your 1st journey. I'd just suggest don't look at DMT as a 'drug'.

I compared it to opium because I felt the same overwhelming sense of joy and exhilaration from them both. And also, I wasn't comparing them in any way besides the feelings I felt, and I know that opium can be very dangerous, that's why I haven't tried it since. And hey man, you can't just assume that I view DMT as a drug anyway, I never made any statements as to my view on DMT. Personally I don't really have a steady view on it because I have been exposed to it so little. We all just need to chill out man. I'm not a big fan of bickering so lets just get on with the loving and forget the fighting man.
