Thanks a lot for sharing Olympus Mon, beautiful!

It must be very special to be able to partake in a traditional mushroom healing session. Consider yourself lucky!

The key really is darkness and lots of shrooms...

thanks all for the kind wishes.
Christian- your spot on, i feel the same way about seeing the world and travel. its the healthiest and in a way most responcible thing a human being can do to expand themselves to the highest versions of self.

travleing has the highest highs and some lonely lows. some days are very challenging but all the while the theme is brutal self reliance and that is what makes us strong.

here is a copy paste from my travel notes that pertains to exactly what your talking about christian. enjoy.

you start out thinking your going to see the world and a very pleasant suprise awaits you.
we dont have the ability to look directly inside. if i was to be asked to stand in an open field and look into my own eyes i would not be able to. i can only see myslef from a reflection in something. im finding its the same with this journey. the more i travel and meet new people of the world, the more i see my reflection in them. i see how we are all so similar and ultimately i hope to see no sepperation at all. there are no others. the more diverse and broad this mirror is the more detailed i can see within and feel comforted by this connection shared in the human experience.
we start out thinking were going to explore different worlds but we find out quickly we are exploring different parts of ourselves.
selling it all and cutting away was in a way a very selfish and irresponcible thing to do. however the power and scale of this experince trumps all. i may have a mess to clean up waiting for me in portland but nothing could ever make this decison not worth it. id do it all again 100 times over.

some times we need to take drastic measures to stop dreaming about life and live the dream. i have a lot of shit to tightened out when i return but for now i need to be where i am and do what im doing.
words cant express my excitment to get to south america in the next few weeks. my plan is the same as mexico. set my intentions, have faith and head into the amazon to find some local people willing to let me work with ayahuasca with them for a while. the time has come for me to go deeper into my self than ever before. with the help and giudence of these sacred traditions i feel that is the best way.

much love ,
OM'

-Jeff, i'm glad that we have the same understanding. I guess it helps that i've also done some travelling myself. I think i told you once, can't remember. The university of life: Travelling broadens the mind, and invigourates the soul. It is the best way of putting ones abilities to the test, especially in latin America, where you basically have to do it like the locals do. A true travellers continent.

-Travel can reveal qualities that you never knew you had, by putting one in testing scenarios you are forced to act, there is nowhere to run. And in doing so new skills are learnt. Sometimes we don't grow because we don't test ourselves. This is a great realisation, and this energy can be put into enthusiasm in tackling other dreams. Anybody that wants a lifechanging experience, should travel. It makes us wiser to how the world really is. I would even go as far as saying that a life not travelled, is a life not fully lived, knowing what i now know.

-Jeff, i'm sure you will be reminded strongly about this often spoken understanding when you get home: That what stops us chasing our dreams is comfort. When you get home it will really hit you harder than ever, just how people seem to be stuck in their routines, living on autopilot. They are scared of a a shakeup, but they need it for their health to flourish, but don't realise this. It may seem hard to chase ones dreams, but it happens easily when we move step by step in that direction. Sooner or later we realise that what seemed impossible or very hard, was actually a damn site easier, and not only that , it was fun, and inspirational. Please excuse my rant, i already previously mentioned this! Laughing

-If you loved Mexico, and Central America, you're gonna lurve South America.

Best regards, Chris.Wink

Brother. Wow! I am so happy for you! You are becoming you, which is a very rare phenomenon in the modern world,. I am stunned. You are using your gifts to the fullest. I love you brother.

I am not a drug addict seeking escape from reality. I am an explorer of consciousness challenging consensus reality.

…is DMT dangerous? The answer is only if you fear death by astonishment… [crowd laughter]… Remember how you laughed when this possibility was raised… a moment will come that will wipe the smile right off your face.
