Did you air-dry or use a food dehydrator? The faster you dry them the better. They should not be very flexible, but dry like a cracker.
Once they are completely dry, you can order food safe silica gel packs online. Throw a few of those and put into an airtight container. SWIM has stored some samples over a year. There's some loss of potency over that large a period of time, but just eat more.

The honey technique sounds very interesting. You could probably store for very long periods if it's not exposed to light. If you try it out, please post your findings.
