morning all,

I have just extracted my first lot of Rue seeds and have got the resulting hamalas in a pot at home waiting to be changafied.
In my changa so far i have just used the caapi leaves in ipa for month method, which leaves me with a unknown amount of harmala's in my changa.

Since i now have extracted hamala's i was wondering how much should go in the changa, im thinking 1:1:1 of herb/harmala/dmt, but then a niggling voice said that was to much harmala's in the mix.

What do you think is a good amount???

Cheers

I would suggest 150-400 as sufficient. I would personally go for 200-300. You could always make 2-3 blends with the material you have and experiment with the level of harmalas in there, but 1/4 gram should be plenty to have a significant influence.

I would keep them separately and experiment. What is too much for someone, is not enough for others. You have to find your own sweet spot.

what do you mean seperately?? do you mean subling/eat the hamala then vape?

i have done that and its very pleasant. but i wanted them all in the changa so its easier to use.

Will putting the hamala's into the changa produce the same experience as eating the seeds then vaping? i had 3.5 grams of rue before vaping and this provided a very nice trip and an hour or so of lovelyness afterwards.

Might be too much harmalas I think (though that obviously depends on personal preference). Some people feel too much harmalas makes it too stoning in changa. Also for some reason seems smoking harmalas is very effective, or that a very small amount goes a long way

As purges said, you can make a couple of blends. Maybe best to first find out how much you prefer, is if you infuse the herbs with DMT only, and manually add the harmalas to the dose in a certain known amount. Try two or three very different ratios, like, say, 1:1:0.05 , 1:1:0.1, and 1:1:0.5 and see how that goes for you. Once you know what you like best, you can infuse a bigger batch with the harmalas already. Let us know how it goes for you!

Luckily i have got some infused herb at the moment, i am going to use it with some LSD for NYE (i would use changa but im not 100% that its LSD and it could be a research chemical which could react badly with the RIMA'S).

I will use some of this herb for my tests and report back.

My best blend to date was 750mg DMT, 750mg leaf, 250mg Harmalas if you want a reference, so apparently my sweet spot is 1/3 the weight of DMT used. But I also like the 'stoning' effect that others don't like, so YMMV.

hmmm it would be too much for me. I have used 100mg of harmalas with 1g of spice and 1g of leaf and I get quite stoned from it. So it really depends on person. I guess I am quite sensitive to harmalas.

I highly suggest a marquis reagent test, because LSDMT is the epitome. Cool

I too, fall into the category of harmala sensitivity.
The first time i tried extracted harmalas for pharma, i was recommended 125mg's [ took 100mg too be safe].
Even then, I still wound up never making it to the dmt dose...
just layed there immobolize for fours with arthritis in my fingers and toes.
Harmalas are one of the strangest ethnos imo. Huge range of sensitivity.

cheers ۩, i never knew of this technique, unfortunately i have no cash for the chems required, but i will defo look into it for the future.

I will still be bringing the molecule to the party. I had my first taste of LSDMTHC on friday night and it was indeed epic, we slightly shyed away from heroic doses of the spice, we used just enough to make the world bend.

It may also be worth noting that I vaporise my Changa, so it could be that not all the alks are being vaped as quickly as the Spice, which may be why moar is needed than others...

I'm sure you won't be disappointed, it takes a little practice but once you've got it down it is the only way to fly Very happy Also I highly recommend these for Changa - http://www.everyonedoesi...uzes.cfm?iProductID=6217 - keeps the goodies directly under the ceramic foam so you can get it all in in one go. Good thread at the right time. I recently made some Changa based loosely on your recipes Purges. Spearmint, jasmine and passion flower for the time being. I made a 1:1 using

700mg Spice

200mg Passion flower
200mg Spearmint
200mg Jasmine
100mg Mary Jane

Then going by your 1/3 by volume I added in 250 mg of Harmala. This does though make me a bit stoned afterwards, I thought it was the weed, but 100mg is really not going to make me as stoned as I felt.

So will cut the ratio down I think on the next batch to more like a 1/4 of the total.

Anyway I used the new GVG last night to work with small amounts of changa to just keep me under the breakthough, dosing a little more when the effect subsided and listened to music.

I found that this way I can have a continuing conversation with the plants over a good few mintues :-)
I like to make things up, everything above is made up and not real, it is a story for my own amusement. Sorry if you felt mislead.

I normally have to edit my posts within a couple of minutes for prose, spelling and grammar. Just to let you know.

does the stoned after feeling take away from the after glow? or is it just a stoney after glow?

Awakened - the Harmalas are going to enhance / synergise with the cannabis, which may be an additional factor. I would suggest trying without weed next time, as well as experimenting with harmala levels...

3rdI - I don't find it detracts at all, in fact it keeps the afterglow going much longer for me, which is why I prefer MOAR...

I meant two different batches, first with only MAOI and second only DMT. You can mix them in pipe with different ratios every time to experiment. Just thought.
