I left it out in the morning and when I came home I realized it had rained. The container has more liquid in it than there was naphtha when I left it but the bowl still smells of naphtha so it's probably mixed. What do? It might not get sunny for a while again so I don't know how quickly the water will evaporate. Will the naphtha still evaporate on its own?

Also will this container and any others used in a lime-based extraction process be food-safe again after heavy scrubbing and washing?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

naphtha floats on water, separate the layers and then let the naphtha evaporate.

Thank you that worked. Now does anyone know about my other question, can these containers be food safe again after washing?

If the container is glass there shouldn’t be any issue using it for food. I wouldn’t use a plastic container for food that had been used in an extraction though.
