I originally wrote a thread at the shroomery which I turned into my trip report. I'm reposting it here in case anyone's interested
Part 1 written about 5 minutes after bulk of the trip ended. I wanted to write as much down before I forgot. Of course I was still tripping slightly.
Quote:
i preprared myself before the trip mentally
i took one hit of salvia 20x
i was aBle to hold onto my rationality and normal consciousness
what i experienced was very simple
a simple shift in the perspective of experiencing life
it was simply experiencing life and existence in one extra dimention
i had the feeling of popping out and experienced this pulsating wave of extra dimention
it was intense but pleasant, which was shocking to me
during the pulsating extradimentional experience i was having i was quickly forgetting everything in an automatic effort to focus solely on this phenomenon that clearly exists but is impossible to communicate due to its nature. I somehow forced myself to hold on and analyze so i did successfully. it is like zooming out on the tv show and seeing the television studio.
the visuals were not really present at all which i found odd
sorry if this was incoherent but im still post tripping
Part 2 about 20 minutes later
Quote:i wrote that about 20 minutes ago but i couldnt select a subcategory whilw tripping so it never sent
heres some technical details
dosage was small, probably 0.3g
had already smoked marijuana prior to this
mentally prepared myself for a mindfuck that could contradict my current understanding of reality
smoked in a bowl with a small amount of weed in there to block the hole for the finer salvia
used a torch lighter
held it in for about 30 seconds
quickly found my way into bed and turned off the light
a few observations
marijuana seems to help with the anxiety of such a trip
marijuana to me seems fundamental to enjoying the trip and it doesnt detract one bit
smoking both at the same time proved to be successful
after effect feels very strong and moderately physically euphoric
i consider this not a spiritual experience at least to the extent of shrooms. its more of a zoomed back look from behind the scenes. youre literally experiencing reality/existence from an extra axis.
i had ambient type music on
didnt harm the trip but it wasnt a focus
probably helped anxiety to have it on so i would recommend it
all in all 100% positive salvia experience and one step closer to figuring this whole thing out
Other thoughts
Quote:It was a good first experience despite not being what I expected. I was surprised that so many people had bad trips on this, but it's understandable considering how strong and perspective shifting the experience is.
I feel that if I used a higher dosage I definitely wouldn't have been able to keep my current perspective consciousness. Next time I'll probably just try letting go.
Edit: After effects are finally starting to dwindle away. The trip itself was maybe 8 minutes of that intense extra dimensional pulsing and about an hour of post trip after effects which are surprisingly physically euphoric. I actually felt quite energized. No mental distress, no physical distress, no emotional distress.
More thoughts
Quote:I'm using this thread as kind of a trip report so i'll just continue posting my own thoughts, even if they probably only make sense to me.
mods can move this to the trip report section if they want to
Anyway I made this diagram that will DEFINITELY only make sense to me. I'm writing this part more for myself than you guys so feel free to skip it.

This pic isn't what I actually saw, it's just a way for me to describe the feeling.
The thick horizontal line is what one would experience in our three dimensional perspective. Apparently this thick line is fairly swiftly moving in one direction, I believe to the left.
When I first experienced the extra dimension it "felt" like those vertical lines protruding out. After a few seconds the trip peaked and the lines were propelling forward like the rungs of a ladder swiftly moving by. The pulsating I was mentioning earlier was actually these "rungs" passing by and "hitting" me which caused the pulsating sensation.
