For the record I'm not "storming off". I just don't want to get sucked into an argument with someone who is being a tad bit pretentious to a newer members as he often is.

Either way I don't want to contribute to a negative attitude, so I'll be back when I have something useful to contribute. Plus I am busy in real life and this site is addicting, its nice to have an excuse to take a break.

I know I flipped out a few times in the past and most people should understand everyone has bad days (or months) and I totally agree the internet is the WORST place to vent frustrations. If anyone is seriously offended by my remarks they should realize I often am only trying to show that there is another side to the coin. Except that one guy who had that crazy website and that guy rambling about channelers I don't apologize to those people. Everyone else I try not to single out when talking about beliefs or whatever.

Honestly I like a lot of people here and what the intention of the site is. I even like a lot of your posts Art too so don't take what I said too seriously. Its important to recognize when your being a dick and I have recognized when I was a dick to others in the past so I chilled on it. I also think this site has overall benefited from taking a more critical approach. Last time I stormed off because a huge amount of posts were about completely pseudoscientific new age nonsense and 69rons encouragement of taking carcinogenic substances. My leaving was partially a result of that and partially a result of personal issues that had nothing to do with the nexus or whatever.

Honestly why would anyone get offended by someone saying they like shrooms more then dmt? Some people find dmt to be deep others find it to be mostly visuals with a head twist. These kind of differences happen wih many substances. But to pretend like dmt is just sacred and only for those who treat it as such is pretty silly.

I wasn't overly offended; I just didn't care for the message in this and the OP's other thread, so I reacted more sarcastically than I should have. I acknowledged this in my very next post in fact, and, I think, explained the reasons behind it pretty clearly. You responded with something akin to an invitation to an alley fight. How would you expect me to respond? I value your contributions here, Burnt - but your people skills aren't quite as advanced as your scientific knowhow. As for me, I don't have a problem admitting when I take a step over the line (as I did about five minutes before you got all up in my grill).

To the OP - I trust you've said your entire piece here. You'll want to put an end to it now, if you're hoping to stick around.

I'm going to wait for Art's reply before I lock this thread and clean up all of the back and forth's that are serving NO MERITORIOUS PURPOSE WHATSOEVER

Well kind of an old post but here's my opinion...The human experience is infinint we create are after life and spirit I believe that if one chooses to manifest his/her eternal self they can, some people have no desire to but that's up to them...as for the looking at lights while tripping I like one right above me when I lay down to trip so when I close my eyes it illuminates my visions so i can see them very clearly...as for DMT not being sacred thats a truly idiotic statement see where that cocky headed thinking gets you in this life or the hyperspace life...
