SWIM has only had 2 chances to use DMT and the first time he had not read into how to smoke DMT and he destroyed about 30mg. The second time was using changa with caapi leaf and it worked beautifully. SWIM was wondering if the same effects as freebase DMT could be achieved more easilly by enhancing a leaf with no psycoactive properties, like oregano or leaves off a tree in ones back yard. That way the only active chemical would be DMT but SWIM could achieve effects without knowing how to smoke a freebase. SWIM thinks it would work but only has a basic knowlage of these things. Could this work or do i have flawed logic somewhere?

Your logic is actually pretty good, thought I wouldn't use oregano or trees out of the backyard. You can try peppermint or mullein

Can you explain why no oregano or trees but yes to peppermint of mullein?

Random plants can be toxic. You don't want to smoke anything that's bad for you, that's why you don't just smoke a random tree you find in your backyard.
Oregano is a potent herb, I really don't think it's going to taste that great or smoke smooth so why use it?

Things like mullein are tried and true. Some herbalists even use mullein smoke to help heal the respiratory system when it is ill. Not a lot of plants out there that do this. It also absorbs DMT well, making it a good choice for spice absorption. Peppermint simply tastes good and many report liking the smoke.

Does that clear things up a bit?
